L&B Universal was founded in 2006 as a small HVAC company and has grown into a mechanical and plumbing contractor with more than 70 professionals across the field and office, serving Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. 

As the company has grown, so has its ability to take on more complex work, particularly occupied renovations and projects that require detailed coordination, phased execution, and close collaboration with other trades.

Today, L&B supports commercial and institutional projects where work must be performed in active environments. The team is experienced in managing schedules around ongoing operations, coordinating across trades, maintaining site controls, and executing work with minimal disruption.

From preconstruction through closeout, L&B brings the structure, field experience, and project discipline needed to deliver safely and efficiently in demanding conditions.
